HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO ME!!!
To celebrate my one year anniversary with Seattle, yesterday i went and got my washington license plates. They were inexpensive, but BOY were they a pain to get! You can't just drive to Jiffy Lube and get an emissions test done, you have to go to a state-run station (of which there are not very many), THEN go to the licensing place. Apparently, the minimum sale value of cars here is $200 but gifting a vehicle is legal. Go figure--I wound up having to pay sales tax on the $200 in order to get my plates. BUT!!! I got my plates! 672-YBU. hahahhahahha

Sunny Seattle
Well, i am finally back on my feet--almost. I am off the crutches and walking around, still not allowed to run or ride my bike yet, but it is a start. It is nice to be able to drive myself places (like the grocery store, and work!) Wow, having legs is awesome!
Last night Lana and I went and saw the Portland Cello Project play at the Triple Door. It was SOOOOOOO entertaining! The triple door is a musical theater, complete with drinks and dinner service. It is pricey for everything, so lana and I just split an appetizer and an entree. Tickets were very inexpensive though-so that was nice. These artists were extremely talented and played a range of songs (some classical, some not so classical) and they collaborated with three portland bands and one seattle band. The arrangements they did of these bands' songs were really good, i think it is one of the best musical shows i have been to in a long time!
Other than that, not a lot has been going on lately--mostly just work. Jeremy will be visiting in about two weeks, and I am looking forward to that a lot! It will be nice to see my friend again (and its about time someone came and visited me out here again!).
Lana finally found a job and an apartment, so that is great. She is signed on for being out here a year--how crazy!
Mom & Dad make their adventurous move soon too--too bad I won't be able to go to their party :( Alaska here they come!
